Free for every family

Where's The Kid is free. Small ads on quiet screens pay for the servers and alerts behind it, so every family can have this safety net whatever their budget. Our goal is to help save lives and keep families whole. We never show ads on alert or confirmation screens.

Is Where's The Kid free?

Yes. It is free for the whole family: both parents, all your children and every alert channel the app offers. Small ads on quiet screens pay for the servers and alerts.

Why are there ads?

Ads keep Where's The Kid free, so every family can have this safety net whatever their budget. You may see one small banner on quiet screens such as Settings or the alert history. We never show ads on alert or confirmation screens, or while a check is escalating.

Will SMS and phone calls come back?

Possibly, as an optional paid feature in the future, but we have no plan or date to announce. For now, alerts go out by push notification, WhatsApp and email, and the app stays free.

Can both parents use it?

Yes. The second parent joins with a six-character invite code. You choose whether one confirmation is enough or whether both parents must confirm.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet. The app is available for Android. A parent without the app still receives WhatsApp messages and emails, and can confirm by opening the link.
